The Basket Extra Large is a spacious top-handle tote bag. Consistently with Palorosa craft production, this bag is entirely handwoven in Guatemala, incorporating recycled plastic; this material makes the product light, minimalist and extremely durable. The very first Basket collection initiated our research and gave birth to our brand, through the unique and contemporary study of colour, which evokes Palorosa’s unique aesthetics. The design of the bag is the expression of our master weavers’ exceptional ability – result of ancestral techniques handed down over time – and their attention to details.
The Basket Extra Large is a handbag that will carry a few small essentials. This fun, chic and elegant style is versatile, washable and extremely durable. A perfect travel bag for the city, beach or countryside that can also serve as a unique home accessory.

Palorosa is a lifestyle brand founded in 2014 by Cecilia Pirani, Italian – Guatemalan landscape architect. The project rethinks utilitarian objects, by using innovative colors and shapes, designing a series of tote bags and small accessories inspired by distant places for everyday life. Palorosa’s calling comes from Cecilia Pirani’s desire to make architecture and fashion coexist and collaborate, to create bags and accessories ready to wear and to be used as objects as well.
