Hygge (pronounced hu-gah) is a Norwegian and Danish word for a mood of cosiness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment.

The Scandinavians have been perfecting the feeling of hygge as a way to survive the cold, darkness and boredom. With so many cold, dark, days, the simple act of a candle glowing with a cup of coffee in the morning or a home cooked evening meal with friends can make a huge difference to one’s spirit.

Hygge has also been referred to as an “art of creating intimacy” so it makes sense that your bathroom should have this feeling, which can be easily achieved with some Oliver Thom products.
