Top 5 Bathroom storage tips

Whether you have a sprawling bathroom or a teeny space- it seems like storage is something we can all relate to not having enough of! The bathroom should be a place of relaxation and reflection, and being surrounded by clutter does not inspire serenity.

We've put together our top 5 clever bathroom tips so that you can focus more on your wellness and enjoying your own private retreat.

1. Hooks & Ladders

If you are lucky enough to have ample cabinet storage in your bathroom, you usually don't want to take up all that space with towels. Hanging a a set of wall hooks or using a decorative ladder, can be a way of displaying your towels while creating a feature on what would normally be a blank wall. This can easily be used to hang other miscellanoes products such as magazines, brushes, loofahs etc.

2. Trays

We are big fans of bathroom trays here at OT, they are so versatile and always make any benchtop items look neat and tidy. You can mix up the size and materials to create a layered look. Whichever way you organise the items, they'll always have their place and significantly reduce that overcrowded bench space look.

3. Containers

This one may seem self-explanatory but it is often overlooked. Cannisters are used widely in the kitchen but can be just as uselful in a bathroom. Use them to store items that often don't look great in their packaging like cotton pads or cotton buds, items that you'd normally hide away, so that you can free up some space in your cupboards!

4. Stools

If you're running out of space in your vanity or mirror cabinet, consider adding a little side table or stool to your bathroom for extra benchtop space. Not only will this provide a useful storage area it will also add some character to your bathroom and a place to rest a glass of wine by your bath!

5. Baskets

Baskets and boxes are the perfect storage solution for products and miscelleneous items you want the freedom to move around your bathroom. They're great to store things like toilet paper, larger product bottles like shampoo and conditioner and even for keeping your bathroom cleaning items close by.
