Red Centre Reed Diffuser
This fragrance encapsulates the sheer energy of Central Australian flora. A bountiful base of desert oak recalls the dry sandy plains that surround Uluru while native grass and wild berry notes signify a kaleidoscopic feast. A subtle hint of native mint bush opens up a quietly spiritual dimension.
10% of the profits from the sale of this candle will be donated to Tjanpi Desert Weavers, a social enterprise of the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women’s Council that enables women living in Australia’s remote central desert regions to earn their own income from fibre art.

ABOUT THE RACONTEUR
We tell the unique story of Australia's native botanicals through our range of luxury handmade products. Our range of scented candles showcase the native botanicals found at iconic Australian locations.
We started in December 2016 with a range of five candles, each focussing on botanicals native to Bondi, including the Port Jackson Fig, Giant Fern, Rock Lilly Orchid and Hickory Wattle Tree. Our first Melbourne candle was released in mid 2017 and highlights Australian botanicals found along the shores of Port Philip Bay, including White Cypress and Kunzea.
In early 2018 we released our "Red Centre" candle based on the native botanicals of Uluru and its surrounding desert plains. Its fragrance notes include Desert Oak and Mint Bush. This was followed by our winter 2018 release of our first Queensland-based candle that highlights the native botanicals of Hamilton Island, the jewel in the crown of the Whitsundays Islands archipelago - lemon myrtle and native ginger. In Spring 2018 we released our first Tasmanian candle and highlighted the rare and marvellous Brown Boronia. Our first candle release for 2019 was Byron Bay. It features native Rosalina and Cinnamon Myrtle. For summer 2019/ 2020 we released our Sydney Northern Beaches candle. It features native peppermint gum and golden wattle.
Australia is the oldest continental landmass on Earth. It formed 100 million years ago when it broke away from Gondwanaland and its native plants have evolved, adapted and flourished ever since. Our fragrances draw on 100 million years of beauty and showcase Australia's extraordinary botanical heritage.
All our candles are handpoured in the northern beaches of Sydney using 100% soy wax and cotton wicks. All our candles are free of paraffins, parabens, phthalates and lead.
